Designed in 3D, the Fragile print was created as a statement piece in conversation to the dancer's body size and image. With intention to take away the focus on the size of a dancer through illusion, this print was designed with 3D imaging of manipulated tin foil. Tin foil can be easily crumpled, but once ripped, cannot return to its original form to reflect the limits of the body. This rebellious design is a play on the standards and expectations of the ballet body size.
