Designed in 3D, the Diamonds print was created as a statement piece in conversation to the dancer's body size and image. With intention to take away the focus on the size of a dancer through illusion, this print was designed with 3D imaging of a manipulated tin foil. Tin foil can be easily manipulated and crumpled, but cannot ever return to its original form like muscle memory and a dancer's body. This design was made to bring awareness to the standards and expectations of the ballet body with colors to reflect a diamond-like texture.
